What to eat

Dolma: a traditional dish, is crafted from grape leaves. A mixture of meat, rice, and greens is added to the interior of the leaves. Depending on the region, it may be shaped into circular or rectangular forms.

Qutab: Savor Qutab, one of Azerbaijan’s renowned dishes. Resembling a quesadilla in shape, it features paper-thin dough filled with a variety of ingredients. This delectable treat is then folded and typically baked in a saj, a traditional Azerbaijani frying pan. Among the most popular fillings are meat, with lamb being the national favorite, a blend of green vegetables, and squash.
