Visitors may see the elements of interior decor design: impressive floor marble mosaic and parquet with wood decor. Decorative hall walls with textile wallpaper, gilded ceiling decor, wall decorations using unique Venetian putty technique and coffered ceiling.

One of the festive events was a midsummer festival "Jonines". The title is related to a common Lithuanian name Jonas and the Latvian name Janis. The location of this festival was the hill, part of which belonged to Lithuania, and another part to Latvia. Lithuanians and Latvians used to celebrate together by sharing their traditional meals, dances, and songs.
