SPECIAL TIPS
The Manor park is unique for its plants. The current owner Vaidas Barakauskas takes a lot of care to preserve local varieties of trees. Thus, for instance, a huge oak tree, 30,5 meters high, 2 meters in diameter has been declared a natural heritage object protected by the state.
So, take a long walk in the park, surrounding Ilzenbergas Manor House. The pathways will take you through flower gardens and decorative plants, further to the Ilgis Lake, ringed by local varieties of plants and trees.
