WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT THIS PLACE

Collegiate Church in Wiślica is an example of the most stylishly mature church from the group of two-nave churches. The collegiate church is distinguished by its vertical shape. The nave and the elongated chancel are surrounded by stepped buttresses, between which there are narrow but high pointed-arch windows. A pointed-arched portal with a foundation slab above it leads to the interior. The interior are examples of sacred art, such as Ruthenian-Byzantine polychrome and a figure of Our Lady of the Elbow-high.
