Saburina’s House, a national monument in Sarajevo’s Baščaršija district, is a well-preserved example of 18th-century Ottoman architecture. Originally a large complex, it now comprises the men’s house and courtyard, showcasing traditional Bosnian architecture with stone, wood, and intricate carvings.
The house belonged to the Saburina family, renowned coppersmiths and merchants, and later passed to the Žiga family. After being damaged during the war, it was restored from 2005 to 2013. Today, the house serves as a venue for guests and tourists, offering a glimpse into Sarajevo’s Ottoman heritage.
