Tomáš Baťa
He was a Czech entrepreneur, founder of the Bata company, one of the largest multinationals in the production and distribution of footwear. Between the 20s and 30s of the twentieth century, the Bata brothers managed to create a world-class company from a small shoe factory in Zlin. Zlín has thus become a city that boasts a unique architecture and urban concept. But Bata is not just Zlin. Follow in the footsteps of this fascinating history and discover the uniqueness of that Genius loci whose essence still remains in the land of Bata.
Emil Zátopek
He was one of the greatest champions in the history of athletics. In his youth he moved to Zlín, where he worked in the factories of Bata. The beginnings of his sporting career date back to 1941-2, when he first participated in "The Spring Race through Zlín" and later won it. His first major success was at the 1948 London Olympics, where Zátopek won gold in the ten-kilometer race and silver in the five-kilometer race.

Valašský frgál
It is a traditional regional specialty from Wallachia, which has gained popularity throughout the country. Try making delicious pies with pears, ricotta, plum jam or poppy seeds!
Slivovice

Uherské Hradiště
In the heart of Slovácko, with its important attractions and events throughout the year, Uherské Hradiště has long been the natural center of Slovácko, a region famous for its distinctive folklore, dulcimer music, quality wine, richly decorated folk costumes and a number of preserved folk traditions. Uherské Hradiště high school was founded in 1884 as the oldest Czech high school in the region.
Kroměříž
In 1997, Kroměříž was declared the most beautiful historical city in the Czech Republic and a year later the local archbishop's castle, together with the Květná and Podzámecká gardens, was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The city traditionally hosts the International Festival of Military Wind Music and the International Festival of Sacred Music Forfest.
Luhačovice
The most beautiful Moravian baths, where composer Leoš Janáček found inspiration. The city of Luhačovice has one of the largest spas in the Czech Republic which are at the same time the largest in Moravia. Here, respiratory diseases, digestion and obesity are mainly treated. The thermal baths owe their fame above all to its mineral springs. There are 6 natural springs and a dozen artificial springs in Luhačovice. The most famous and important spring in Luhačovické lázně is the Vincentka spring.
