HOW WE WORK

The therapeutic path

The therapeutic process of AAI (Animal-Assisted Interventions) includes: Assessment and Customized AAI Planning: The extreme variability in clinical manifestations of such individuals necessitates the establishment of intervention programs that are as individualized as possible, with technical adjustments that need to be verified and evaluated each time. The multifunctional team, composed of the Project Manager, Intervention Coordinator, Veterinarian with expertise in AAI, and Animal Co-therapist, participates in the development of the project. Weekly sessions of Hippotherapy or Equine Rehabilitation (AAI). Ongoing monitoring that spans the entire treatment to genuinely assess the changes induced by therapy, with a particular focus on cognitive and behavioral changes. Periodic interviews to review the progress of the Customized Project.

THE EXPERIENCE WE OFFER

We involve our users

Based on the experience gained over the years in the implementation of various interventions, our offering is aimed at engaging our users, especially the younger ones, in interesting, rewarding, and engaging activities. The horses, selected for their morphology and temperament, are particularly suited to establishing relationships with people, facilitating all non-verbal aspects. The Intervention Coordinator, following the guidance provided by the Project Manager, discreetly integrates into this context, taking advantage of the opportunities that animal-assisted activities offer, particularly with regard to AAI. Educational AAI activities and Animal-Assisted Activities (AAA) are centered around the aspects of play and mutual respect, through which participants can learn new things. In all AAI activities, the important aspect of peer relationships is present, and whenever possible, the activities have a group character.
