Ilzenbergas Manor House and its Park welcomes visitors to Lithuania. Renovated authentic interior of halls, lounges, and vaulted cellars takes the guests back in history when the Manor was inhabited by noblemen.
The Manor’s Park, set in a unique location with two lakes, allows you to take a walk in a vast territory, where visitors may admire artistic park sculptures. The Manor Farm is the largest biodynamic farm in the Baltic States.
Visitors are welcome all year round to take a tour of the Manor House and admire the historical past. The natural Park attracts those who love long walks. Decorated with sculptures and situated in the vicinity of lakes, it is perfect for relaxation.
Traditional tree cake: made of butter, egg whites and yolks, flour, sugar, and cream. Cooked on a rotating spit in an oven or over an open fire.
Local customs, tradition and festivities
Ilzenbergas Park gathers hundreds of people for various public celebrations, including the Midsummer Festival, celebrated together with Latvians; State Restoration Day on the 6th of July; some religious festivities, such as the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and numerous concerts on a variety of occasions. It is also open for family celebrations and the newest entertainment by taking a trip in a catamaran in the lake.
