WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT THIS PLACE
People can visit Kuwa, the religious center of Siraya, in Kabuasua Pingpu Cultural Park. For the Siraya, Kuwa is the most divine place. In the kuwa, there are numerous pots, jars, bottles, and urns. 'The Village of Pot Worship' was nicknamed by Japanese researchers during the time of Japanese rule due to the villagers' respect for their special pots or bottles at home. The annual festivals that take place in Kuwa are a significant part of Pepohoan culture in Taiwan. Kabua Sua Ta-Ai, one of the Siraya festivals, is one of the most preserved Pepohoan festivals in the present.
