Conscious Territories and Itineraries

Natural and cultural heritage holds significant potential in addressing the contemporary challenges our world faces, including climate change, conflicts, and global economic uncertainties, all in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Increasing awareness of the cultural and natural richness within local communities is crucial for enhancing social well-being and development through the promotion of shared knowledge, respect, solidarity, and inclusion. These curated journeys have been developed through collaborative efforts between universities and cultural institutions. Their aim is to actively involve communities in comprehending and conveying the cultural and traditional aspects of their regions for preservation, while also encouraging responsible, sustainable, and inclusive travel practices and policies.

These countries encompass Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Cameroon, Congo, Georgia, Japan, Italy, Lithuania, Madagascar, Morocco, Nigeria, Poland, Kazakhstan, Romania, the Czech Republic, Taiwan, and Ukraine, each contributing a unique history and cultural heritage to be shared with the world.

The World in Florence

The Festival of The World in Florence is an exceptional and unmissable event that engages young generations, local communities, businesses, and remarkable experts in proactive discussions about shaping future scenarios and sharing best practices. The aim is for heritage to concretely represent a mean of self-awareness and territorial hospitality, respect for diversity, inclusivity, social and environmental development, all of which can converge into a new model for territory management, travel approaches, and targeted educational policies for the new generations.
