"This monument was erected in 1984 by the Alpini and the Fogolar Furlan Association of Brisbane in the small square of the Italo Australian Center in Newmarket. In 2011, the monument was moved to Pallara to the headquarters of the Fogolar Furlan. Thanks to the help of Friulian friends, in 2023 the monument was moved again to the Abruzzo Club in Carina as a perpetual memory of the fallen of all wars and as a reference point for the Italian community."
