The Italian Garden complements the palace. Its symmetrical layout and rich vegetation make it a unique place, combining the beauty of nature and the art of gardening

This Place is Important Because

The Cathedral and Palace have become part of the landscape of Castle Hill and Kielce. It is an early Baroque gem of a city with medieval roots. It was a bishop's settlement with a church and a manor house, where the current buildings are located. The palace, founded by Bishop Jakub Zadzik, is the best-preserved early Baroque residence of the bishops of Kraków first, and of Kielce since the 19th century. It currently houses the National Museum in Kielce. Thanks to Castle Hill, Kielce is strengthening its position on the map of Poland as a city that harmoniously combines tradition with modernity. It is a place that inspires residents to discover their history, while offering space for the development of creativity and innovation.
