Visionary donkeys
Once upon a time... there was an extraordinary group of people united by a passion for the care and protection of the sweetest and most love-needy creatures, donkeys. We are a team composed of an EAA Project Manager, an Intervention Coordinator, an experienced IAA Veterinarian, a Canine Assistant, a Feline Assistant, a Rabbit Assistant, and yes, even a Donkey Assistant.
Our mission? To create relational and social value between humans and animals in a naturalistic context between mountains and a lake, supported and mediated by sector experts, respecting mutual well-being. At the moment, we own six of these wonderful creatures, five of which have demonstrated exceptional behavior, recognized by AAI, "Animal-Assisted Interventions." But we're not satisfied. We have an ambitious goal, one that makes our hearts beat with enthusiasm: to reach eight members for our team.
Each of us has a story to tell. Our Project Manager, an expert in Assisted Educational Activities with Animals (EAA), is the mind behind it all, the visionary who started this extraordinary adventure. The Intervention Coordinator is the heart of the team, the person who coordinates daily activities and ensures that each guest receives the right amount of love and attention.
Our experienced IAA Veterinarian has a special affinity with animals, ensuring that each donkey is healthy and happy. The Canine Assistant brings contagious joy and encourages social interaction with dogs. The Feline Assistant has his own way of calming spirits and bringing a sense of tranquility. The Rabbit Assistant brings his playful spirit and liveliness to the team, while the Donkey Assistant, with his wisdom and calmness, teaches us all the importance of patience.
But we know that with eight donkeys, we could do even more. We could spread love and happiness in a world that needs it. We are ready to grow, to give a better future to the donkeys we welcome and to inspire others to join us in this wonderful mission of care and dedication.
Our dream is to continue spreading the beauty of the human-donkey relationship, learning from donkeys how much love they can give and how much they can teach us about the meaning of kindness, patience, and unconditional love. And so, with the goal of reaching eight members, our team prepares for a bright future, full of love, commitment, and happy donkeys.
THE FARM
Colico (LC)
We are in Colico, the northernmost village on the eastern shore of Lake Como. Here, history, nature, and culture merge, allowing us to offer unique experiences to our guests, enveloping them in an atmosphere that captivates the heart and soul.
The history of Colico is rich and fascinating. The ancient streets of this picturesque town tell stories of bygone eras, of warriors and kings, of trade and cultural exchanges. Walking through the streets is like taking a step back in time, breathing in the history that permeates every corner.
Nature here is astonishing. Lake Como, with its sparkling waters and the imposing mountains that surround it, offers a breathtaking spectacle. The beauty of sunsets over the lake is unforgettable, and the surrounding nature provides endless opportunities for outdoor excursions and adventures.
Culture is alive and vibrant in Colico. Local traditions are celebrated with passion, and the community welcomes guests warmly. The local cuisine is an explosion of authentic flavors, and local festivals offer the opportunity to immerse oneself in the local culture.

WHAT WE DO
Animal assisted activity
In our mission to create meaningful connections through assisted interventions, a fundamental aspect is the educational and recreational dimension. Our commitment is directed towards a wide range of recipients, including Disabled Health Residences (RSD) and Health Assistance Residences (RSA), institutions such as schools and municipalities, as well as the mountain communities in our region. But we don't stop there. Our spirit is to spread the knowledge gained during our training courses and, above all, to share the valuable guidelines that show us the path to follow.
Every day, we immerse ourselves in a world of emotions, learning, and deep connections. Working with RSDs and RSAs, we are aware of the importance of providing moments of joy and interaction that go beyond medical care. Every smile, every spark in the eyes of those we assist is an invaluable reward and inspires us to do more.
We aim to educate, inform, and inspire, ensuring that our knowledge and passion spread throughout the territory. Each educational session is a bridge between our world and the audience, an opportunity to increase understanding and appreciation for human-animal connections and the benefits they can bring.
Our work is based on empathy, connection, and passion. Every day, we contribute to improving people's lives, inspiring and educating, and spreading the light of knowledge and love through our assisted interventions. Inspiration
Imagine a place where work becomes a unique experience, where the open air and nature are an integral part of your office. Our facility has been designed with the goal of creating an environment that inspires you and allows you to work differently, in a balance between commitment and serenity.
Today, you can carry out your work outdoors, immersed in private spaces or along paths marked by the Italian Alpine Club (CAI), which traverse a marvelous landscape of woods, streams, and the shimmering lake. The beauty of nature is your work companion, and the tranquility of the place offers the concentration you need.
But we don't stop here. We have an ambitious project: the creation of the first "Onovia" in the Lecco area. A special place, an oasis where nature and work blend in a unique combination. Our vision is to create a space that inspires, energizes, and promotes creativity. And it's not just a dream; it's a goal that we are pursuing with determination.
Our projects, including those identified with AAA, are more than mere ideas. They are tangible goals, and we work hard to achieve them. The certification we obtain is our testimony of commitment and quality, the assurance that we are moving in the right direction.

Personal projects of Animal-Assisted Education (AAE) are exciting journeys within ourselves. Here, in the company of these magnificent animals, we find inspiration and growth. Together, we discover new perspectives and potentials, working in harmony to achieve personal and shared goals.
Inclusion is at the heart of our commitment. Inclusive projects for Disabled Health Residences (RSD) and Health Assistance Residences (RSA) are a warm embrace for those who often feel forgotten. Here, our donkey friends become bridges of connection, bringing joy and a sense of belonging. And then there are the playful projects, where grooming, contact, and trekking become an opportunity to play, laugh, and share precious moments.
