WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT IT
When the Moinam festival unfolds in Bertoua, it holds a unique charm for Gbaya daughters and sons.
It becomes a special occasion for them to gather and rejuvenate at King Mbartoua's cave.
Beyond this, Moinam encapsulates various cultural expressions, including visits to the Grotto of King Mbartoua, showcasing Sirta warriors in traditional attire, performing the traditional rain-stopping ritual, and presenting the LAGBI.

IT IS SO IMPORTANT BECAUSE
It seeks to foster the promotion, spread, and protection of the community's culture, traditions, and heritage. Simultaneously, it acts as a catalyst for the socio-economic development of its members. The association is committed to advancing the education of youth, especially girls, within its framework. Additionally, MOÏNAM works towards creating, maintaining, and strengthening bonds of solidarity and mutual aid, actively combating individualism. A core aspect involves cultivating a spirit of thrift, socio-cultural and economic integration, and investment by pooling the material and financial resources of its members. Furthermore, MOÏNAM mobilizes and guides all its members in various actions related to promotion, education, and development, ultimately aiming to enhance the overall well-being of its members.
