“Romulus Vuia”

Traditional music education and restitution in Cluj-Napoca

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

An open air museum

The National Ethnographical Park “Romulus Vuia” is an open-air museum with houses and households from all over Transylvania in a single place, a must-see if you visit Cluj.

WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT THIS PLACE

Even if the households are lifeless and empty, there are several feasts and concerts organized here and the place comes alive. Also, the caretakers grow vegetables in the gardens so it seems that someone lives there.

THIS PLACE IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE

The National Ethnographical Park “Romulus Vuia” is important to the community because here they can explore their roots, can see how their grandfathers lived.

SPECIAL TIPS
